Connecting to the MUSC Bridge from endpoints external to MUSC or PSPN

February 17, 2017 Posted in: MCU Bridge Hits: 1108

To connect endpoints to the MCU that are not part of the MUSC’s network or a neighbored network, there are two choices:

    1. The far site can IP dial  XXXXX@128.23.34.15 (Contact meeting coordinator for meeting room number and substitute XXXXX with this information).
    2. The far site can register to our border controller, bc.musc.edu (128.23.34.15/16).
    3. The far site can create dial records to point to our infrastructure.

Internally or on a network that is neighbored with MUSC, the user will dial 843888XXXX, X being the conference room being used.

For meetings that are recurring, contact ttt@musc.edu and we will create a static room for you with a PIN to allow access to only those with the pin.

For meetings that are not recurring, the user can dial 8XXXX, create the room and add a PIN is needed. Afterwards, the user can enter the conference ID followed by the # sign. For example, if your conference is at 8-7000, the PIN number # and then 7000#.
